Félicitations !

Gilles Garachon est le nouveau directeur des ressources humaines du Ministère de l'Europe et des affaires étrangères.

L'ancien ambassadeur de France aux Philippines puis en Thaïlande est diplômé de l'Inalco en birman et hindi (1985).

Il a multiplié les postes à l'international, devenant successivement premier secrétaire à New Delhi puis consul général adjoint à Hong Kong, avant d'être deuxième conseiller à Bangkok ou encore conseiller de coopération et d'action culturelle à Jakarta.

Il s'agit d'un retour au Quai d'Orsay pour ce secrétaire des affaires étrangères (Orient), qui a travaillé sur les zones Afrique australe et Océan Indien, ainsi que sur les zones Asie et Pacifique au MEAE. Il a également été sous-directeur des personnels contractuels à la direction des ressources humaines du ministère, service dont il prend aujourd'hui la tête.
